报告简介：

The lecture will encourage young students to write scientific papers. It will discuss the required thoughts and preparations before writing, and it will describe the typical structures and contents of such papers. The lecture will deal with the process of submitting manuscripts and communicating with the journal editors and the referees – hopefully with a positive outcome. Prof. Oberst has a long-standing experience of writing- and acting as editor and reviewer for scientific papers. At the end of the lecture, there will be time for questions and answers.

报告人简介：

Prof. Jürgen Oberst received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989. He is Chair of Planetary Geodesy at the Technical University Berlin, involved in various camera - or Laser altimeter experiments on space missions, such as Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, Mars Express, BepiColombo, and JUICE. His interests include the modeling of the orbits, shape, rotation, and interior structures of planets and their satellites, asteroids and comets.
