报告简介:

Dr. Marc-Henri Derron is a Swiss geologist and Senior Lecturer-Researcher at the Institute of Earth Sciences (ISTE), University of Lausanne (UNIL), Switzerland, where he has worked since 2009. He holds a Diploma in Geology and Mineralogy (1994, Faculty Award) and a PhD in environmental geochemistry (1999), both from UNIL. Before joining UNIL, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Greenwich on radar interferometry and active tectonics, and spent six years (2003–2009) at the Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) pioneering laser scanning techniques for geohazard assessment. His research focuses on hazard and risk analysis of gravitational slope movements, with expertise in terrestrial remote sensing technologies including LiDAR, thermal infrared imaging, drone-based laser scanning, and ground-based InSAR. A committed educator, he teaches across international programmes such as the European TRACEE network and currently serves as an Invited International Professor at the National Taipei University of Technology (China Taiwan). With over 252 peer-reviewed publications and more than 4,880 citations ResearchGate, he is a widely recognised authority in engineering geology and geohazard science, with contributions spanning leading journals such as Engineering Geology, Landslides, and Remote Sensing.
