报告简介:

The advent of Spatial Data Science 2.0 marks a paradigm shift in geographic analysis, driven by the deep integration of AI, big data, and foundational spatial thinking. This convergence moves beyond traditional mapping and statistical modeling toward intelligent, data-driven geospatial discovery capable of addressing complex urban and environmental challenges. This talk explores how AI-enhanced algorithms process heterogeneous data to reveal dynamic spatial patterns. Key applications include modeling urban growth under climate and land-use policies, analyzing social interactions in dynamic urban spaces, and using social media data to understand population health. Critical challenges—data privacy, algorithmic transparency, model generalizability, and equitable access to computational resources—will be discussed, alongside future opportunities in explainable AI, privacy-preserving analytics, and human-in-the-loop frameworks that combine machine intelligence with human geographic intelligence.
