On July 22nd 2021, Professor HUANG Wei of our College was appointed as an Associate Editor-in-Chief of ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information (ISPRS IJGI), in charge of manuscripts in the directions of Citizen Science and Crowd Sourcing and Volunteered Geographic Information.

ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information is an international, peer-reviewed, and open access journal on geo-information. It is a journal of the ISPRS (International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) and is published monthly online by MDPI. It was started in 2012, with Impact Factor of 2.899 (2020), CiteScore of 4.6, and JCR - Q2 (Geography, Physical).

Professor HUANG Wei's research interests lie at the intersection of GIScience, geography, computer science and computational social science, focusing on using geospatial big data and AI to progress the understanding of the mechanism of the interaction between human activities, urban transportation and social events, benefiting urban sensing, sustainable urban development, policy making, etc.
